The Minnesota IT Symposium brought together technology professionals from across the state to share ideas, explore emerging solutions, and discuss the challenges shaping today’s IT environments.
For Xigent and VergeIO, the event created a valuable opportunity to connect with IT leaders who are reevaluating their virtualization strategies. With continued changes surrounding VMware licensing and costs, organizations are asking important questions about what alternatives are available and how they can build a more flexible path forward.
Those conversations continued during our sponsored breakout session, Current Landscape of VMware Alternatives, presented by Rod Lucero and Larry Olson. The session took a closer look at the evolving virtualization market and highlighted considerations for organizations exploring alternatives to their current VMware environments.
Throughout the day, we also had the chance to connect with attendees at our booth, hear about their current infrastructure priorities, and talk through the different approaches organizations are considering as virtualization continues to evolve.
Thank you to everyone who attended the breakout session, visited our booth, and took the time to connect with the Xigent team. We also appreciate VergeIO for joining us in Minnesota and helping make these conversations possible.
