The Iowa IT Symposium gave Xigent and VergeIO an opportunity to connect with IT leaders from across Iowa and have meaningful conversations about the infrastructure, virtualization, and data center challenges organizations are facing.
A major focus of those conversations was the changing virtualization landscape. As VMware licensing changes continue to impact organizations, many IT teams are taking a closer look at their environments and considering what their next move should be.
As part of the event, Xigent and VergeIO sponsored the breakout session, Current Landscape of VMware Alternatives, presented by Rod Lucero and Larry Olson. The session explored emerging alternatives and practical approaches for organizations evaluating their virtualization options.
Beyond the breakout session, we enjoyed continuing those conversations at our booth and hearing directly from IT leaders about the challenges and opportunities they’re seeing within their own environments.
Thank you to everyone who joined the session, stopped by to talk with our team, and helped make the Iowa IT Symposium a great event. A special thank you to our partners at VergeIO for working alongside us throughout the day.
