Job Description
The Senior Account Executive is a business growth, development, and revenue expansion position. This position requires a strong work ethic, solid communication skills, the ability to understand customer business challenges, and explain the business value of the proposed Xigent Services. The Account Executive will be the initial point of contact for potential new customers and will be responsible for engaging the appropriate technical resources to determine the best solution to solve the customer’s business problems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospect for new accounts and drive new business development
- Develop and manage a pipeline 4x annual quota
- Achieve or exceed quarterly & annual revenue and margin goals
- Monitor and mediate all necessary communication between customer, vendor, and technical resources within each account
- Build strong relationships within the customer’s organization to identify problems, consult and assist the customer in finding appropriate solutions as a trusted advisor to the client
- Be timely and responsive to all customer quotes & inquiries
- Thorough understanding of the services catalog and how it relates to customer needs
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
- Attend networking events in assigned territory
- Plan and execute joint sales plans and activities with key managed services partners
- Maintain opportunity pipeline in CRM
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Service Delivery Managers on pre-sales and implementation
- Learn and follow Xigent’s Customer Centric Sales Process
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required
- Excellent communications skills
- Negotiation skills
- Comfortable using Sales and CRM tools
Education
- 4- year/bachelor’s degree
- 5 years’ experience preferred in technology industry
