Role Description

Xigent is looking for a versatile marketer with a knack for analytics and project management. This role is an individual contributor role that’s responsible for our marketing team’s operations, editorial calendar, digital marketing support, and using metrics to help keep our team on track and identify areas for performance and operational improvement.

On our small and nimble marketing team of 2-3 employees, you will play a critical role in our marketing success. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in, and drive, a variety of marketing activities on a regular basis. Some of your most common day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Project management

  • Use Wrike to track the team’s projects and tasks and run through status checkpoints
  • Manage and update the marketing content/editorial calendar
  • Oversee Hubspot database management and best practices
  • Proofreading/editing
  • Provide quality assurance support for marketing collateral, landing pages, emails, presentations, etc.
  • Offer light editing/writing support for sales presentation slides, social media posts, internal presentation decks, etc.

Digital and social media management

  • Make periodic content updates to our templated web pages, including scheduling blog and event posts, changes to our team page, etc.
  • Draft landing pages and emails in Hubspot based on provided content and oversee scheduling
  • Draft and schedule social media posts within Hubspot and/or directly on each social channel

Light graphic design work

  • Leverage Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications, work within existing design templates to create and edit marketing collateral documents, create presentation decks, select stock photography options for social and blog posts, etc.

Analytics/campaign measurement

  • Pull data from tools like Google Analytics, Hubspot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc. to track relevant marketing performance data
  • Provide regular reports with highlighted successes and recommendations for improvement

Job requirements

  • 2+ years marketing or related project management experience
  • Demonstrates strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively to manage multiple projects simultaneously in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change
  • Shows strong internal communication skills
  • Applies a development mindset that uses creativity and marketing expertise to develop new, more effective and more efficient marketing approaches
  • Knowledge of tech, IT, data center or SaaS is a plus, but not required
